FIFA the video game is a series of soccer simulator games released annually by EA Sports. It was the first video game to have an official licence from the FIFA soccer federation. It parallels the real sports world with licensed leagues and teams like German Bundesliga, La Liga, English Premier League and the Australian A-League. The official face of FIFA in 2020 is Eden Hazard, who has taken over from Cristiano Ronaldo. The first FIFA Interactive World Cup, now called the FIFA eWorld Cup, was held in Switzerland in 2004. The tournament has grown quickly over the years and had 2.5 million players signed up in 2013.
